Pipeline Integrity Management

KEMA works with and has been involved in the development of PIMSlider, a modular pipeline integrity management system

In order to handle the growing amount of data and increasing complexity of pipeline systems, a Pipeline Integrity Management System has been created to assist the pipeline operator in operating and maintaining assets in a responsible and cost-efficient manner.

The system PIMSlider® allows you to analyze critical processes through a range of expert modules, making use of all kinds of information such as geographical information, pigging data, maintenance costs, certificates, photos or detailed excavation reports. PIMSlider®, developed in collaboration with software company ATP, is a modular system to support the operator in maintaining the integrity of the pipeline in an effective manner.

At present there are modules that can support all pipeline integrity management processes, such as risk management, corrosion management and inspection and repair management. The latest developments are the Direct Assessment module for analyzing and assessing the integrity of non-piggable pipelines and the Offshore module for analyzing and assessing the condition of sub-sea pipelines.
