Special Software
Learn more about our special software tools SINANET, WEBANET, IMAFEB/ELEFEB and OLACAD/ELFF
The KEMA software tools are the result of years of experience from a range of projects and assignments. They form the basis for well-underpinned studies, analysis and required plannings. Simulation programs analyse d.c. and a.c. railway systems, electrical fields as well as designing overhead contact line systems for railways, subways, streetcar infrastructure, depots and workshops.
Efficient verified software provides the basis for studies and planning. The KEMA tools are the product of years of experience on a range of projects and assignments. They have proved themselves in numerous construction projects and are in use worldwide. New construction projects carried out in recent years have been based on simulations using our powerful software for train running simulation and network caculation, including tram and metro lines in local transport, high-speed and heavy cargo lines in long-distance traffic. These tools have enabled capacity enhanchement of existing systems, whilst power requirements have been minimized.
The SINANET® simulation program analyses d.c. railway systems. The WEBANET program was developed for a.c. systems using a specific electric network model. Virtually all kinds of rail power supply systems and different feeding arrangements can be simulated using these two verified programs. The IMAFEB/ELEFEB program analyses electrical and electromagnetic fields. The ELEKTRA program is used for analysing high-voltage transmission networks, in particular for two phase rail networks.
The CAD system OLACAD/ELFF® has been developed for designing overhead contact line systems. Contact lines for railways and local rail transport, such as trams and metros, as well as overhead contact lines for depots and workshops, can be designed using this tool.
